2 Piece Cropped Jacket

This is the first piece from Anthro Solar designed completely from scratch. After feilding a few options to followers, a cropped jacket won the vote. 

The jacket is composed of two parts; a lighter mesh-lined under-layer that acts like a windbreaker, and a shawl-like over-layer made with stiffer fabric. The under-layer incorporates external mesh panels on the back and under the arms for breathability and comfort. A stretchy rib knit keeps the form of the jacket tucked at the waist, wrists, and neck. Both over- and under-layers feature two-way seperating zippers, to expand the number of ways this jacket can be styled. 

The over-layer has a printed Anthro Solar logo on the front and the text "THE FUTURE WILL BE BRIGHT" on the back. We're not shying away from optimism here. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This jacket is being funded through a pre-order; which means once I close pre-orders the manufacturer will begin production. There is a minimum order quanitity of 50 per colour. Now, I would like to offer as many colours as possible but I am also cognisant that it's unlikely every colour will hit 50 orders, so this order will be set up with a sequential ranked choice voting system. 
 

What does this mean? When you order, you need to also fill out this form here with your ranked preferences for colour - this is necessary, even if you only have one preference; this will help me organise the orders more easily. Inside the form, you are picking all the colours you would be happy to recieve, and placing them in order of preference. This way, if you pre-order one colour, but it doesn't hit the 50 unit target I need to get it manufactuered, you will recieve your second choice - it's a way to ensure that everyone gets a jacket :) If you only pick one colour, please note that there is a chance I will need to refund your order if your chosen colour doesn't make the 50 unit cut-off - so I encourage you to pick a few if you are feeling more flexible! 

The way this system works is that I count every first choice and total them. Any colour that goes above 50 is 'safe' and guaranteed to be manufactured. For those that don't hit that target, the colour with the least number of first choices is disqualified, and then the 'second choice' votes from anyone who voted that colour as their first choice will be redistributed to the other colours. This will continue to happen to whichever colour has the lowest number of votes until we have arrived a situation where all the colours left have over 50. 

Ranked choice systems are great because it gives you more power and choice in the voting process; while this order uses sequential ranked choice (because I just need to ensure that everyone gets as close to their preferred colour as possible) you should check out proportional ranked choice as a potential voting system for political elections - here's a great site to start! :)
